Subsea non-bonded flexible composite hose is a kind of subsea pipeline used in the development and construction of offshore oil and gas fields, which is suitable for single or mixed transportation media of oil, gas and water. Due to the particularity of the marine environment, marine hoses are usually made of corrosion-resistant materials and have good flexibility, which can be easily bent in the underwater environment and adapt to complex seabed terrain.
Flexible reinforced thermoplastic composite pipe (RTP pipe) is a high-pressure plastic composite pipeline with good flexibility, corrosion resistance, high pressure resistance, impact resistance, wear resistance, light weight, easy connection, coiling, long-distance rapid laying without joints, etc. It can effectively overcome the corrosion problem of steel pipes and the pressure resistance problem of plastic pipelines. It can be applied in the fields of oil and gas extraction, high-pressure long-distance transportation of natural gas, and various pipelines that require high pressure transportation media.
The production level of hoses in this project represented the highest level of hoses in China at that time.
